Ernie's real estate, business and commercial clients are southwest Washington company owners and entrepreneurs, operating closely held corporations and limited liability companies, engaged in selling and buying real estate, real estate management, real estate leasing, commercial and residential construction, hotel/motel operation, auto/truck repair, towing, salvage and recovery, manufacturing, and similar businesses serving the general public. Ernie provides his clients with advice and representation consisting of business entity formation, contract negotiation, preparation and enforcement, debt collection, and defense of lawsuits. Clients are advised to lien, and not to lien, when to negotiate, settle or sue.
Ernie's real estate practice includes resolving and litigating real property boundary disputes, which has resulted in Ernie having a working relationship with southwest Washington land surveyors and civil engineers.
Ernie defends those who are unfortunate enough to have made mistakes or mental errors when behind the wheel, when in a family argument or when hunting, fishing and recreating.
Making mistakes that result in misdemeanor charges doesn't make one a criminal. Don't let them treat you like one!
Knowing the ins and outs of the Department of Licensing, and how to prevent driver's license suspensions or revocations, is an important part of Ernie's practice. Getting through the bureaucracy to get licenses reinstated can also require legal representation. Prosecutors, city attorneys and Department of Licensing personnel have long known Ernie and that he knows what he is doing.
Litigation is what Weber Gunn PLLC can and will do for its clients, and Ernie is one of the firm's experienced litigators. Name a type of litigation, and there is a good chance Ernie has tried a similar case with similar issues.
Ernie was born and raised in Vancouver Washington and has been practicing law in southwest Washington since 1977. He snow skis and is an avid fisherman, hunter and hiker. He is a graduate of Hudson Bay High School, Washington State University and the Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University School of Law).
